VR Olympics Coming To NBC (+Video)

NBC Announced it will offer 85 hours of virtual reality programming during the 2016 Rio Olympics in August. The technology will only be available for users of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones and the Samsung Gear VR headset. The use of virtual reality programming during the games will be a first for the Olympics. In May, NBC broadcast the Kentucky Derby in 360 video and the NBA has also provided a few VR broadcast of its games.
