Syracuse University Is Offering an Early Retirement Plan to Cut Staff

Syracuse University is offering staff members an employee buyout plan in an effort to trim staff costs.

Staff whose age plus years of service equals 65 or more will be eligible for the buyout, according to a memo sent out today by Andrew Gordon, senior vice president of and chief human relations officer for the university. ...Faculty are not eligible.
