Central Texas Library Circulates Robots

Library First in Central Texas to Circulate Robots

Radio NB | September 15, 2015

The New Braunfels Public Library has added six “Dash” robots to its circulating collection for children – the first to be offered in any public library in Central Texas. Each of the six “Dash” robots offers a variety of functions based on skill level and interest. At its most basic, the robot functions as a remote controlled device that can travel around rooms. The robots introduce children to coding concepts, while providing interactive entertainment.
