Helping Paralyzed People Make Music

Eye-Tracking App Lets Paralysed People Make Music (+Video)

New Rising Media | March 8, 2016

Plenty of work has already been done in creating eye- and face-tracking technology, which helps the paralysed to communicate. But what if you want to have some fun? What if you want to create music? That's where Andreas Refsgaard and his new app, Eye Conductor, come in.
To get started, all you need is a computer, an eye tracker (something like the SteelSeries would work) and confidence to look like a bit of a plonker twitching your face. The interface is flexible and simple to use, making this a far cry from the usual software you get in this space. You can create anything from a simple melody to a full dance track.
