Self-Cleaning Clothing? All It Takes Is Some Light

Pesky clothing. Sure, it’s great for covering up, showcasing style, and protecting against the elements, but worn garments—and the overflowing hamper—serve as reminders that eventually you’re going to have to do laundry.
Hopefully, roboticists will soon make a laundry robot available to consumers. Until then, though, we’re stuck with folding.
But what developments are being made in the washing realm?
