Google Is Now Getting More Searches From Mobile Phones Than Computers

Consumers are now using mobile phones more often to search Google than desktop PCs, the company’s SVP Amit Singhal revealed at Recode’s Code/Mobile conference Thursday.

Google defines mobile traffic as any search request coming from a device with a screen size of six inches or smaller, he explained, adding that tablets are in a separate category of its own.
