Accountants Threatened by Technology

Accounting professionals are among the most concerned about technology advancements threatening their jobs, according to research by CV Library

Over a third (35%) of those working in accounting fear their jobs are at risk due to technological advancements in the industry compared to 25% of employees nationwide. 
In addition, 40% also feel that increased technology and connectivity has a negative impact on their work-life balance.

However, accountants have a love/hate relationship with technology. The survey also revealed that accounting professionals value technology in the workplace more than any other industry.
