An objection to Arthur Jaros Jr., one of Mayor Martin Tully's proposed appointees to fill one of two terms that ends Aug. 31, focuses on Jaros' objection in 1999 to a book that was used at Downers Grove South High School.
The Downers Grove Village Council is scheduled to vote on the proposed appointments at its Tuesday, Aug. 18 meeting.
